It is my passion and pleasure to create art with symbolism and meaning. I am a painter of portraits, surrealism and figurative subjects. My series entitled "La Pawso" focuses on the beauty of women. The fish appears in every piece representing feminine beauty and fertility. I work in a variety of materials: oils, acrylics, painting on paper, and canvas. I love creating skin tones using paint so; I experiment with glazes and mediums. I studied illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design and Art Education at Florida International University. I currently work teaching Art full-time at an Elementary in Houston, Texas.
